Rourke/LeFevre (#6 seed) vs Shearer/Allen (#5 seed) – Rourke/LeFevre win 40.5-39.5!
This was a Super close match!!!!!! As were all of Dan and Steve’s playoff matches throughout the playoffs (Except that they beat the 1 seed Damico and Glastetter pretty good (22-18)… Dan had Joel’s number this season beating him handily in the regular season match as well – notable mention that Gary was able to win his half of the match vs Steve even when giving up 16 strokes! that’s in 9 holes folks… two strokes a hole on 6 out of 9 holes – absolutely crazy). But they kept on winning and won the coveted Scairtelli Cup! So don’t let anyone tell you that you’re out, no matter what place you’re in… these guys were in 8th place going into Wild Card Wednesday…. so it’s true what they say, anything can happen! Congratulations to both Dan and Steve on their miracle season!
